Other Fees

  • Additional Consultations: A $15 fee per occurrence will be charged if additional consultations are requested by the Pet Owner. Note: The Initial Consultation is free of charge.
  • Out of Service Area: The regular Service fee plus $5 per Service and mileage, if appropriate, will be charged for any travel and/or Services provided outside of the Service area.
  • Holidays: A $10 fee per occurrence will be added to the regular Service fee ($25/day if boarding) on the following holidays: New Year's Day • Easter • Memorial Day Weekend • Independence Day (Weekend if applicable) • Labor Day Weekend • Thanksgiving & Black Friday • Christmas Eve • Christmas Day • New Year's Eve.
  • Late Payment: A $25 per month fee will be charged for any overdue payments.
  • Returned CheckA $25 fee, along with any other associated costs, will be charged for returned/NSF checks.
  • Key Pick-Up/Return:A $10 fee per occurrence will be charged if it is necessary for JPN to pick-up or drop off keys prior to or following a Service. Note: there is no pick-up fee if house keys are collected by JPN at the Initial Consultation.
  • Before/After Service Hours: A $3 fee per occurrence will be added to the regular Service fee if Services are required after 5 pm; A $10 fee per occurrence will be added if Services are required after 8 pm.
  • CancellationJPN adheres to a strict policy of no overbooking, so once Services are confirmed, business will be turned away in order to accommodate the Pet Owner’s schedule. As a result, JPN’s cancellation policy is as follows:

- Holidays = no refunds.

- Daily/Weekly Services and Dog Walking:
  (1)   24+ hours’ notice = unused services may be applied
         toward future services
 within one year from the
         cancellation date.

  (2)   Less than 24 hours’ notice = no refunds.

- All Other Services:
  (1)   48+ hours’ notice = 50% of unused services may be
         applied toward future
 services within one year from
         the cancellation date.

  (2)   Less than 48 hours’ notice = no refunds. 

  • Last-Minute Service Requests: A $10 fee will be charged for any Service Requests received less than 24 hour's in advance.
  • Changes to Service by Pet Owner:  The regular per Service charge will be applied if a Pet Owner does not notify JPN of any adjustments to the Service schedule within 24 hours of the next scheduled Service.
  • Pet Owner Return Home: The regular per Service charge will be applied if a Pet Owner returns home early or arrives home late and JPN is not notified within 24 hours of the scheduled Service time.
