Julie The Pet Nanny is owned and operated by Julie Diehl and based in Lino Lakes, Minnesota.

Even as a child, Julie’s devotion to animal welfare and happiness has been a priority. Raised in a pet-focused household, Julie has loved and cared for a wide variety of pets throughout her life—many of which were strays looking for a happy home. Julie’s deep level of commitment toward animal health and well-being, coupled with experience and education in the pet care industry, results in an unmatched level of accountability and responsibility to pets and pet owners.

Julie shares her life with her companion of 18 years, Jay, and their two boys—Labrador Retrievers Vinnie (yellow) and Austin (black). With Jay’s shared allegiance to superior animal care, including extensive knowledge and experience in dog obedience and field training, it’s a household full of loving history and happiness for both the two and four-legged family members!

Uncomfortable with the idea of boarding kennels or calling upon others to care for her pets, Julie has experienced the same endless worry as so many other pet owners do when separation from their pets is necessary. Upon the long-awaited desire to offer a unique, specialized solution to this dilemma, and wanting to create something directly impactful to her life, the lives of animals and the lives of pet owners, Julie The Pet Nanny was formed.

Today Julie’s continued goal is to provide responsible, trusted pet care when you can’t be there and to ensure all animals are treated with the love, respect, appreciation and empathy they most certainly deserve.
